Un’unità didattica MYP collegata al Service è stata riconosciuta nell’ultima Newsletter internazionale di The Ocean Race. Gli studenti MYP2 hanno studiato gli effetti della plastica sui nostri oceani durante le lezioni di lingua Inglese, mentre lavoravano sui Phrasal Verbs, ricerca ATL e tecniche di ricerca fonti. Il prodotto finale per ogni gruppo di studenti è stato un opuscolo, inteso a sensibilizzare sull’argomento, tutto incluso in questo Padlet.
Non solo i nostri studenti MYP2 promuovono una migliore cura dei nostri oceani, ma si comportano in modo da promuoverla loro stessi, gestendo un proprio sistema di riciclaggio a scuola che coinvolge tutte le classi di MYP, come parte del progetto Service as Action sulla Sostenibilità.

The Ocean Race, Service as action project
An MYP Unit of Work linked to Service has been recognised in the latest Ocean Race international newsletter. MYP2 students studied the effects of plastics on our oceans during their English Language classes, while working on phrasal verbs, ATL research and sourcing techniques.
The final product for each group of students was a pamphlet, intended to raise awareness on the topic, all included on this Padlet.
Not only do our MYP2 students advocate better care of our oceans, but they behave in a way that can affect it themselves, by running their own student-led recycling system as part of our MYP-wide Sustainability Service as Action.
